Our Library

Stories change us.

The J.T. Moore library provides a place for students to feed their natural intellectual curiosity and develop a love of reading. With plenty of windows and natural light, it’s an inviting space for both independent and group work. It provides access to classrooms, thousands of print and online books and resources, computers, and periodicals. The library is open every day from 8:40 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

The mission of the J.T. Moore Library is to support the development of lifelong learners and meet the information needs of our community by:

  • Providing a welcoming place where students and faculty will find up-to-date, quality resources that support the academic curriculum

  • Engaging in ongoing collaboration with classroom teachers

  • Teaching information literacy skills using both print and non-print resources

  • Encouraging the love of reading for enjoyment

  • Providing enrichment opportunities through special programming

School Library Checkout

  • Students may utilize the online catalog to search for print books, e-books, and audiobooks.

    • While the J.T. Moore Library uses MackinVIA as its e-book/audio book platform, NPL uses Libby.  The Libby app can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play.
